Men, Milk and a Growing Crux: Is this an Ice Age for Pleasure Boaters?

A group of secret society members from New York, known as The Men (notorious for having no more than 538 Johnsons), are being implicated in a tunnel discovery, believed to have been made during a fishing trip they took to Seattle in early 2011. In a lake behind The M-----, where plummeting freshwater temperatures are used to encourage nature cruising in hopes of increasing U.S. and Canadian border crossings, several e-mails may have resulted in what appears to be a subterranean passage extending from Brooklyn to Ballard...and beyond. A list of confirmed entrances and exits is available here.

Vindication from claims of an alleged attempt to "milk" the state capital of its music resources will be sought by these "pug-ugly joy-punk and almost krautrock face-mooshers" at a town meeting scheduled for Saturday, August 20th. The meeting will be moderated by Josephine Baker-Bonaparte and will likely begin around 9 p.m.

Aloha, from Santa Rosalia.

Hey, folks! Big Crux has a modest musical proposal for you. What could possibly be construed as vacant-stare-chicken-walk-boogie, if not neo-bopism [wink], we happily announce a new one-sided 12” EP entitled Nature Cruising. Inspired when on visit with assorted Chicano Rockers, R&B groovesters, and Boondoggle and Bizocho, during a field trip to some bygone era of rock n’ roll, it is five songs [some with blatant nods to the aforementioned], 368 iterations, artwork by el presidente ElĂas Martinez, and musings on the trajectory of human history.

Pick it up at our June 19th party at the Josephine in Seattle with our friends ANDROID HERO, CRIMINAL CODE, IRON LUNG, and WHITE WARDS! You can hear it here.  Available now at Iron Lung Records

Nice and Friendly, B<X
